This book was written as a Bachelor’s Thesis and it is divided into four main chapters: Theoretical part, Practical part, Commentary and Glossary. The Practical part is the translation of a selected text and remaining three parts focus on the theory of translation. The Practical part is translation of an extract from a book "Founding Brothers; The Revolutionary Generation" written by a historian Joseph J. Ellis. The extract is the first part of the second chapter called "The Dinner", the copy of which is added at the end of the Thesis in the appendix. The text deals with political situation of North American states in the 18th century after the American Revolutionary War in regard to particular personalities that played the most important role in this period of American history.
