In this scenario, knowing young learners’ L2 motivation and attitudes may be important as this may give language teachers a detailed understanding of their learners’ changing aspirations and needs. Therefore, this book is an attempt to understand and explain L2 motivation of a sample of Pakistani students. The study reported in this book showed that the participants were not willing to integrate with the particular community and culture of English-speaking countries. However, they showed a non-ethnocentric attitude towards the world at large and were keen to participate in the international English-speaking community.
