Over the last few decades, much has been written about the Arthurian literature, which has proved the unrelenting popularity of this subject matter. Most of the academic literature focuses on traditional Arthurian books written by men and thus supports this pre-dominant interpretation of the Matter of Britain - or, in the other extreme, declaims the male-written texts entirely along with providing its readers with a one-sided feminist interpretation of the story.
