Because researches have shown that students' difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts are largely attributed to poor methodology. This book was born out of a research conducted to investigate the effectiveness of three instructional methods viz;laboratory, discovery and lecture methods, on junior secondary school students' performance in learning volumes. A sample of 360 junior secondary school students was used in the research. Teachers- of primary and secondary schools- and parents will find this book a good companion.
