It is believed that English tutorial classes enable students to enhance their English ability and academic performance. Hence, in this study an attempt is made to describe the practice and possible impacts of after school English tutorial classes. Many schools are giving this program for their students in order to improve their academic performance, but all schools may have different styles of practicing the program.The main concern of this study focuses on how these schools practice the program and if the program has impacts on the students’ academic performance.
