When users roam from home network to foreign networks, mobile IPv6 take care of the continuity of communication during handover process. But when mobile communication devices that have different communication equipments, like MRT, a train, a bus or a plane, then it is not suitable to use for mobile communication. Therefore Internet Engineering Task Force established the NEMO, which is an extension of Mobile IPv6, to support the mobility of entire network. In this book it is introduced how the MANET problem space can benefit from the introduction of NEMO concepts.
