This proposed architecture combines both DA based approaches for distributed input vector and constant coefficients. The described Combined Distributed Arithmetic based DCT (CDA-DCT) architecture has been implemented on Virtex II FPGA, and shows fewer adders and saving exceeding 97% achieved.
