The World Wide Web (WWW) contains a huge amount of information and more is being added to it constantly. Search engines retrieve a large amount of information in response to a query, from which, the user has to select some amount of information to satisfy her information need. In this context, a query specific text summarization would be of great help to the user. Query specific text summarization on multiple documents is more challenging than summarization on single document. Issues like, ordering of sentences extracted from different documents, scalability, efficiency etc., will be there in multiple document summarization.
