The publication concentrates on economic policy experiences of the major political regimes of Amin (1971-1979), Obote II (1980-1985), and Museveni I (1986-1995) in Uganda. The first chapter looks at the current structure of the Uganda economy and the second addresses modelling, the used system estimation technique, and some theoretical issues of macroeconomic goals or objectives and policies – orthodox and heterodox.
