It has severally been linked to job creation and poverty alleviation. Due to the sector's importance to developing economies, the prevailing performance levels of firms was analysed using Ghana as a case study. Knowledge about performance levels enables the categorization of firms into successful or otherwise. It is possible that internal and external factors may put a firm in either of the categories. This book identifies these factors (determinants). Further, highlights of the factors that explains intensity of export success in Ghana is brought up.
