An advantage of using this technique is that the structure of the ISM controller does not need to be altered during faults and failures. Maximum level of robustness of any safety critical systems can be achieved using this scheme and to make it fault tolerant. The efficiency of the proposed scheme is checked in simulation on the Admire Benchmark Model which is small rigid fighter aircraft with a delta canard configuration.
