Some of these strategies include the implementation of enterprise solutions (ES) such as Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). These come in different stages but are aimed at maximising returns on capital investments and promoting supply chain performance. In effect, this book evaluates the returns that can be gained from an ERP project in organisations through an effective supply chain network using a case study.
