Provision of quality technical education is vital in order to compete for dynamic global labour market. Graduates quality from TVET institutions in Kenya has declined over the years. Study sought to establish efficiency of automotive diploma curriculum in preparation of trainees for job readiness in Nairobi region. Survey research design was used. Five tutors and ten students from each of eight TTIs from Nairobi comprised sample for the study. Both descriptive and inferential statistics was employed. All tests were run at 0.05 significance level. Study revealed significant relationship between skills acquired during training and skills needed in industry. Challenges affecting implementation of the curriculum was inadequate skilled persons in curriculum development and out dated machinery and equipment.
