Personality, Gender & Learning Styles – Teaching to Student Aptitudes determines personality and cognitive profiles in secondary students, focusing on intuitive/sensor, thinker/feeler characteristics of students, and describes the relationship between personality profiles, preferred cognitive learning styles and math/reading comprehension aptitudes from ACT Explore results. Dr. Kotz also examines the possibility of gender differences in either reading comprehension or mathematics ability based on these personality characteristics. This study is based on Krause’s Cognitive Profile Model, built upon Jung and Myers work.
