Welcome is a three-level course at primary level for children learning English for the first time. Its syllabus is based on graded structures and vocabulary. Welcome enables pupils to use English effectively and ensures that they have fun while learning. Welcome develops all four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) through a variety of communicative tasks and everyday dialogues. It recycles vocabulary and grammar regularly. Welcome 3 consists of six modules of three units each. Each unit contains material for two lessons of about 50 minutes each. Welcome 3 also includes eight Culture Clips which provide an insight into the culture and customs of the United Kingdom. Welcome 3 and its components may be covered in a total of about 90 teaching hours.
