The importance of the rheology and its measurement can be certified by the existing literature on the characterization of fresh concrete. In addition to traditional experimental methods such as the V-funnel, slump flow, sieve stability test and the L-box, a new Rheological characterization test has been used: it is the flow of concrete first in a V-Funnel and then in a horizontal plexiglas channel. The main objective of this test is to determine both the flow time in the V-Funnel (indicator of the viscosity of mixture) and the threshold shear of concrete by means of a single rheological test.
