The effect of ground plane curvature on the radiation characteristics of the DRA element is presented. These elements on curvature structures are used for many applications such as: DRA elements are used to get omnidirectional, direction finding systems, more compact handheld RFID reader and DRA reflectarray. Full-wave analysis using the finite integration technique (FIT) is applied. The results are validated by comparing it with that determined by finite the element method (FEM) and the transmission line method (TLM).
