This book presents a cross-sectional study (undertaken at the College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalungkorn University) of HIV/AIDS Risk Behaviors among Myanmar Migrants in Bangkok’s Khao San Road tourism area. Quantitative analysis using chi-square test, odds ratio and 95% confidence interval were used to describe associations between variables from the sample gathered using the snow ball technique. A major high risk profile for HIV/AIDS among Myanmar migrants emerged within the study, the undereducated 25-29 year old blue collar worker with moderate knowledge of HIV/AIDS. Associations between socio-demographic factors, HIV/AIDS knowledge and the risk behaviors: visiting sex workers, alcohol consumption and drug use were analyzed and presented in this particular study.
