The study has touched upon a number of theoretical and empirical issues relating to the formulation of strategy for the development of a Himalayan- destination. Three broad issues of the book are destination marketing, perception and attitudes of local people for tourism in Sikkim and resource analysis for tourism with all available natural and socio-cultural resources.
