The present work is an attempt to understand the complexities of a commununitarian relationship in an area under armed conflict. The present work has been done in the state of Jammu and Kashmir with special focus on the Rajouri District, which is a Line Of Control area with that of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. The study examine the Socio-Political impact of the armed conflict as well as the impact of state counter insurgency strategies on the common lives. It also examines the inter and intra community relationship in a conflict zone. The present work has tried to explore that how the people in a conflict zone have complexities and how the relationship based on such complexities could be understood along with the religious line. It has also examined the role of state and other organisations in the community relationship of such areas and how they have responded to cope up with such complexities.
