For this purpose, novel Bacillus strains were isolated from polluted marine environments and characterized at their biochemical and molecular levels. Bioremediation investigations were carried out using experimental designs. It is expected, through a better understanding of the decolorization mechanisms, to widen the available range of bioremediation tools.
