The different bacterial agents causing UTI were enumerated and their antimicrobial resistance pattern was studied. Gram negative organisms producing Extended Spectrum Beta Lactamases (ESBL) were determined. The different epidemiological factors having a role in production of ESBL were characterized in this study.
