Radish (Raphanus sativus L.) is a popular root vegetable throughout the world, grown for its edible fleshy roots which are eaten raw as salad or cooked as vegetable and it is rich in Ca, K, P and vitamin C. There are many cultivars of radish having diverse characters in different parts of the country. Those genotypes were collected from different parts of the country. The detailed quantitative and qualitative characters of those genotypes are necessary to know, for the improvement of the yield and other desirable characters and made a certain recommendation to generate research evidences with respect to most suitability of certain variety in specific sowing method.
