However, the socioeconomic disposition of farm households determines not only the destination of migrants, but also the amount and channel of receipts as well as the use to which the funds are put. Because migrant Remittances have significant direct poverty mitigating effect and carry no obligations, it has adequate scope to become viable rural investment tools.
