The antibacterial activity were also assessed toward these snythesized esters, the findings showed that the lauroyl derivatives has a specific antibacterial effect against Staphylococcus aureus. The effect was found to be dose dependent. This work provides a new idea to the regioselective synthesis of carbohydrate fatty acid esters, may arouse interest towards those engaged in research in this field.
