We have to raise public awareness & provide support for changes that are needed to be ushered into our life styles & attitudes,if we are to preserve our earth,our environment & our family. Keeping in view this objective,a detailed study involving workers community of Kaliapani Chromite Mines was undertaken. Attempts were made to focus on living conditions,health,hygiene,education & environmental impact of mining activities on their life pattern.
