 Currently, the achievable densities of minerals inour existing agricultural crops mean that fewindividual plant foods are able to supply the dailyrecommended intake for any given mineral in anaverage or reasonable serving size.Soil is the basis of all human life and our only hopefor a healthy world. All of life will be eitherhealthy or unhealthy according to the fertility ofthe soil. Minerals in the soil control the metabolismof cells in plant, animal and man. Variations in thedistribution of certain minerals in the environmentare known to have an effect on health.The aim of the present research was to enrich somevegetables through their roots with some selectedtrace minerals:- That may act as hypoglycemic agents in thetreatment of diabetes. May be helpful in dietary deficiency diseases. Would reduce serving size of vegetables andincrease dietary intake of these minerals.
