Antimicrobials significantly change the course of many illnesses in reducing morbidity and mortality and its overuse contribute to the growing international problem of antibiotic resistance. Determination of oxytetracycline residue in poultry tissues were conducted to compare with recommended international MRLs using HPLC assay, and, hence, it was confirmed widespread use of oxytetracycline beyond MRLs.
