The present investigation was conducted to characterize the Bacteria species in commercially available drinking water of Bangladesh culturally, biochemically, pathogenically and antibiotic sensitivity analysis. A total of 50 bottled water samples of 10 manufacturing companies were collected from different markets in Mymensingh and Dhaka. Out of these 50 samples 4 (8%) were found to be positive for Staphylococcus aureus.
