Patient education and medication counseling are the base line knowledge requirement for the management of disease like CAD and which are low among the people.Patient counseling produced significant improvement in patients knowledge,attitude and practice score regarding the management of CAD and thereby better therapeutic out come.This shows that counseling does very important role in CAD. A clinical pharmacist can play a major role in improving patient knowledge and by developing education materials like patient information leaflets.
