Chemotherapy generates free radical damage DNA and induced genotoxic effects and event cell death there is possibility that pre treatment with flavonoids and alkaloids can induce protection against oxidative stress. The herbal extract selected for the present work contains a large number of flavonoids and alkaloids and other active compounds in a good concentration.
