Appropriate livelihoods is a great challenge for the visually challenged person and it is compounded if they belong to rural areas. Very little scope has been available for them in each aspects of life like environment friendly education system, appropriate vocational training etc. In India scopes of finding avenues of livelihoods for the disabled people is very limited.
