The study used survey questionnaire for collecting the primary data which is distributed for seventy managers of the organizations. The finding of the study showed that the traditional compliance with rules and regulations; monitoring the internal control system and assessing the reliability of the organization’s financial reporting was considered the most important role of internal audit department in the organizations.
