This study established the effect of management training on organizational development, the constraints that community based organizations face in enhancing organizational development and the extent to which management skills have been acquired through training. This study also established the possible strategies that training organizations can employ in order to enhance acquisition of skills.This study was guided by Gestalt Organizational Systems Development Theory (2004) which was developed by the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. This theory states that Organizational change is fundamental to the success of capacity building and adaptive change. Survey research design was used for this study.
