This book draws from the general understanding that INGOs are charity organizations whose actions are to be guided by the nature of their work, whilst in actual fact they do not usually espouse what they practice. The book therefore seeks to investigate the effectiveness of INGOs corporate governance practices. It goes on to explore whether there is a relationship between corporate governance practices and organizational performance.
