Secondary schools incorporate strategic planning practices in their management processes but their effect on performance had not been subject to widespread assessment through empirical research. Strategic planning practices are key to improvement of the schools performance. Schools' management team should be trained on strategic management skills to effectively employ strategic planning practices to enhance the schools' performance.
