People are the common element in every organization and they can be used to further an organization competitive advantage (Decenzo 1998).Organizations today are constantly faced with the challenge of retaining the most competent employees available in the labor market. In order for an organization to achieve its goals and objectives it needs to retain the most competent employees and hence gain a competitive advantage within the industries they operate in.
