Many tasks are done in a sitting position. Using laptop , writing and reading can be mentioned as several of the myriad examples that are daily performed by students in class. Considering the amount of time they spend sitting in the classroom, it is essential to have suitable chair that appropriately supports their body in performing those tasks. Some of the issues pointed out by students through the survey highlight the design deficiencies of the current chairs. Part of this problem is contributed to the growing population of international students in Malaysian universities.
