This book describes two new innovations to Maori weaving never seen before. Firstly, the combination of the European technique of loom weaving using traditional Maori weaving materials in the creation of a collection of unique cloaks. Secondly, the use of computer-aided loom weaving to produce the traditional taniko (finger weaving) style of adornment.
