Consequently, precise control of drug input into the body by a variety of routes is now possible.This study presents an idea of development of mucoadhesive buccal patch of Labetalol hydrochloride by using chitosan,PVP K 30,PVP K 90,HPMC,and polyethylene glycol(PEG)1000. The prepared patches were evaluated for their weight variation,thickness,folding endurance,swelling index,surface pH,drug content uniformity and in vitro release studies.
