 The drugs which are photo sensitive should be packed by a kind of system thus the product cannot be degraded. Now a day, it has been seen that some pharmaceutical companies do not follow the standard packaging system and for similar kind of product different types packaging are being introduced. This is a type of research report designed to determine the photolytic degradation of an antipsychotic drug Angenta®, product of Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Bangladesh, is a combination of contains flupentixol INN 0.5 mg (as di-hydrochloride) and melitracen INN 10 mg (as di-hydrochloride). By conducting various type of physical, chemical and instrumental tests were done to determine whether the product is photo sensitive or not in various conditions (control, direct sunlight, normal light, 25watt and 40watt light condition).
