Forty participants were assigned to two groups with learners in the experimental group receiving formal instructions on middle voice structure in English. An independent t-test was run to compare the two groups. The results indicated that there was a significant difference between the two groups. The results are discussed with respect to the promising effect of focus-on-form instruction.
