The variables consist of job mismatch, English proficiency and employability skills that were stated as independent variables for this study. The respondents were 150 employers and employees for both public and private institutions in Malaysia. The findings show that job mismatch, English proficiency and employability skills have impacts on the rate of unemployment among graduates in Malaysia. This study can be seen as a foreword to a more detailed study that can be carried out by future researchers on the issue of unemployment among graduates in Malaysia.
