It enables readers to understand the occurrence and impact of some of the major Harmful Traditional Practices with special reference to female genital mutilation, early marriage and abduction in the study area. The findings of the study showed that Female genital mutilation, early marriage and abduction indicated as the top priority list of HTPs practiced in the community. These HTPs negatively affected school girls education in various interrelated aspects.
