The rate at which people seek jobs in Nigerian banks and then cross over to other industries is interesting and at the same time alarming to human resource management practitioners. More so, being an industry where it is generally believed that the workers are properly taken care of. Invariably, this means that employee turnover, “mechanical work,” poor service delivery and other such outcomes are issues the bank managements are grappling with. Researchers have attributed such outcomes to lack of commitment.
